A great start to the Reps Yr 1-5 this year. North Harbour versus Waikato Challenge - three games points were awarded for each game won and one point for each draw. North Harbour took out the honours of the day winning 34-19.

This event was the chance to introduce new Yr 1-5 players into the next level of competition bowls.

Each team consisted of 11 players allowing the coaches to interchange within games - all players getting the opportunity to play at this level at least one game.

It was a very good test on players, coaches and selectors at this early part of the season. We are pleased with the first hit out for this team and with a few more training sessions and Centre Events before our next rep fixture, we are confident of further improvements along the way.

Our journey on the road to success is underway.
